To provide an apartment building that visually appears more as a detached house and enhances a high-grade feeling.SOLUTION: An apartment building of the present invention comprises a plurality of dwelling blocks connected to each other. Each dwelling block of the plurality of dwelling blocks is a composite dwelling block having a plurality of dwelling units, and includes a lower-story dwelling unit entered from a first entrance provided on the lower story and an upper story dwelling unit entered through a second entrance provided on the lower story. A lower-story entrance door provided on the first entrance and an upper-story entrance door provided on the second entrance are located on a side in the orthogonal direction with regard to the dwelling block, opposite a passageway extending in the connecting direction when seen on a planar view on the lower story. Furthermore, a wall is provided between at least either of the lower-story entrance door or the upper-story entrance door and the passageway.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
