SOUND ABSORPTION AND SOUND INSULATION MATERIAL AND ENCLOSURE
To provide a sound absorption and sound insulation material which not only exerts sound absorption performance but also can improve sound insulation performance for insulting passage of sound to an opposite side of a sound source on a side where the sound source exists.SOLUTION: A sound absorption and sound insulation material 1 comprises a hollow boad B having one or more core layers C which are three-dimensionally formed, and two facing skin layers S1 and S2 for sandwiching the core layers C. The hollow board B comprises a plurality of small chambers X and communication spaces Y isolated from the small chambers X in an inner space region R formed between the skin layers S1 and S2. At least a part of partition walls Z partitioning the respective small chambers X from the communication spaces Y and outside the hollow board B is constituted of the skin layer S1, the communication space Y is sealed at an end 21 of the hollow board B, an inside of the communication space Y is filled with liquid L, and small holes H for communicating outside the hollow board B and the small chambers X are opened in the skin layer S1 constituting a part of the partition walls Z of the small chambers X.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
