To provide an underwater installation system capable of changing the direction of a suspended cargo without depending on visual observation of a diver.SOLUTION: There is provided an underwater installation system used to install a cargo at a target position underwater by suspending with a wire that extends from a crane of a floating crane, comprising a gyro mechanism capable of changing and controlling the direction of the suspended cargo by motor drive, an azimuth meter capable of detecting the orientation of the cargo, and a control device which changes the orientation of the cargo by the motor drive.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
