To provide a dielectric ceramic composition that exhibits sufficient insulation performance even at high temperatures, and to provide an electronic component using the same.SOLUTION: A dielectric ceramic composition of this invention at least includes (A) component which is a compound represented by (BaR)(TiMg)O, and further include one or both of (B) component and (C) component, in which (B) component is a compound represented by YOand (C) component is a compound represented by YbO, where R is one or more elements selected from Y, Dy, Er, and Ho, and x and y satisfies respectively 0.01≤x≤0.05, 0.015≤y≤0.075, and the total of the molar content ratio of the (B) component and the (C) component to the (A) component is 1.0 or more, and an electric component using it is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
