REINFORCING METHOD AND REINFORCING STRUCTURE OF MASONRY STRUCTURE
To provide a reinforcing method and a reinforcing structure of a masonry structure capable of reducing the amount of excavation and minimizing the influence on the appearance.SOLUTION: A reinforcing method of a masonry structure includes a step of providing a vertical hole 16 for inserting and arranging a tendon 22 (rod-like member) into the interior of a masonry structure 10 in the vertical direction, a step of providing a horizontal groove 20 leading from the surface of a joint 14 to the vertical hole 16 in the lateral joint 14 of the masonry structure 10 near the height position corresponding to the lower end of the tendon 22 and above the lower end of the tendon 22, a step of inserting and arranging the tendon 22 into the vertical hole 16 while inserting and arranging a fixing plate 28 into the horizontal groove 20, a step of fixing the lower end of the tendon 22 to the fixing plate 28 in the horizontal groove 20, and a step of applying tension force to the tendon 22 with the lower end of the tendon 22 as the fixed end and the upper end as the tension end to apply a vertical compressive force to the masonry structure 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
