To provide a revolving work machine which can quickly raise a revolving speed while preventing dragging of a revolving parking brake at a start of revolving.SOLUTION: A revolving work machine comprises: a revolving motor 11; capacity control devices 50,60; a revolving control devices 12,13 receiving a revolving command operation and permitting supply of a hydraulic oil from a hydraulic pump 10 to the revolving motor 11; a revolving parking brake 30; a brake switching device 40; a brake release command portion 70 inputting a brake release command into the brake switching device 40 so as to switch the revolving parking brake 30 to a brake release state after permitting the supply of the hydraulic oil to the revolving motor 11; and capacity restriction portions 46,69 which, before a time of releasing the brake, restrict a capacity of the revolving motor 11 controlled by the capacity control devices 50,60 so as to be lower than a capacity for brake release and which, after a time of releasing the brake, permit a capacity increase.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
