To provide an easy-to-use vehicle door opening/closing operation device.SOLUTION: A vehicle door opening/closing operation device includes: a door operation unit 4 disposed in an operation space 2 in a door 1 of a vehicle and operated from an operation opening 3 provided in the door 1 to open/close the door 1; an electric actuator 6 driving a cover body 5 which closes the operation opening 3 in a closed position to an open position inside the door 1; a detection switch for detecting a pressing operation of the door 1 further inward from the open position of the cover body 5; and a control unit controlling the electric actuator 6 to drive the cover body 5 to the open position subject to the authentication of a user outside the vehicle and detecting a pressing operation of the cover body 5 by a pressing operation detection switch 7 to drive the cover body 5 to the closed position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
