To obtain a runner support structure of a partition wall which can support runners of the partition wall in a simpler configuration, and a partition wall to which the same is applied.SOLUTION: A runner support member 30 is in the form of a flat plate whose thickness direction is the vertical direction of a building, and an end 30A of the runner support member 30 can be fixed using only one surface of a furring strip 28 facing the lower side of the building.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
