DIAMETER EXPANDING DEVICE AND ELASTIC SLEEVE INSTALLATION METHOD
To provide a diameter expanding device enabling a diameter of a bearing member to be expanded, an elastic sleeve showing resilience to be press contacted against an inner wall surface of a pipe passage and installed there and to provide an elastic sleeve installation method operated under application of the diameter expanding device.SOLUTION: A diameter expanding device A includes a carriage 10 that is constituted to be movable in a pipe passage and having a holding part 12 for use in holding a circular arc-shaped supporting member 1 at its periphery; a pair of engagement members 19 to cause each of a pair of wedge-shaped members 2 installed between the opposing ends of the supporting members held at the holding part to be engaged, respectively; and a driving member for driving the pair of engagement members to be approached to each other or spaced apart from each other. An elastic sleeve installation method is carried out in such a way that the supporting member 1 having a pair of wedge-shaped members 2 arranged between the end portions is held at the holding part 12, an elastic sleeve 3 is arranged at an outer periphery of each of the supporting members, the engagement members are engaged with the wedge-shaped members to cause the elastic sleeve to be moved up to its installation position and further to cause the engagement members to be approached to each other by the driving member, thereby a diameter of the supporting member is expanded and the elastic sleeve is moved up to an installation position and the engagement members are approached to each other by the driving member to expand the diameter of the supporting member and the elastic sleeve is press contacted at a position where it should be installed and then mounted there.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】支持部材を拡径させて弾性を有する弾性スリーブを管路の内壁面に圧接させて設置し得るようにした拡径装置と、拡径装置を用いた弾性スリーブの設置工法を提供する。【解決手段】拡径装置Aは、管路内を移動可能に構成され、外周部に円弧状の支持部材1を保持する保持部12を有する台車10と、保持部に保持された支持部材の対向する端部の間に配置された一対のくさび状部材2を夫々係止する一対の係止部材19と、一対の係止部材を互いに接近させ又は離隔させるように駆動する駆動部材とを有する。弾性スリーブの設置工法は、保持部12に端部の間に一対のくさび状部材2を配置した支持部材1を保持させ、該支持部材の外周に弾性スリーブ3を配置し、くさび状部材に係止部材を係止させて弾性スリーブを設置位置まで移動させ、駆動部材によって係止部材を互いに接近させることで、支持部材を拡径し弾性スリーブを設置すべき位置に圧接させて設置する。【選択図】図1
