To provide a shaping fuel having high strength, environmentally friendly, and capable of reducing a pelletizing cost, and to provide a method for producing the same, and a method for baking limestone.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a shaping fuel, comprising a carbon material and a binder, wherein: the content ratio of carbon in the carbon material is 60 mass% or more based on a dried state; and in a state before reaction, the binder mainly comprises calcium oxide, has an average particle diameter of 15 μm or less, and has a powdering rate of 30% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
