To provide a foundation structure of a building capable of shortening a construction time and a construction method thereof.SOLUTION: A foundation structure 10 of the building is provided with a steel foundation 30 including an outer circumferential foundation 30A constituted by a plurality of outer circumferential steel materials 40. The plurality of outer circumferential steel materials 40 include at least one finished steel material 40A. The finished steel material 40A includes an outer surface 43B extending between the upper end and the lower end at the end in the width direction. The outer circumferential foundation 30A is configured such that the outer surface 43B is located on the outer circumference of the outer circumferential foundation 30A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
