DOOR LOCK DEVICE AND ATTACHING METHOD OF THE DOOR LOCK DEVICE TO VEHICLE DOOR
To provide a door lock device capable of attaching a lock mechanism to a vehicle door first.SOLUTION: Disclosed door lock device includes a lock mechanism having a key rotor switching between an unlock state and a lock state, and an operation part for causing the key rotor to operate. The operation part includes a cylinder that gets to be rotatable when a key is inserted, a transmission member that is configured to be operably connected to the lock mechanism for transmitting the rotation of the cylinder to the lock mechanism, and a connection part that is configured to connect the cylinder and the transmission member so as to transmit the rotation of the cylinder to the transmission member. The key rotor includes an engaging part that is configured to engage with the tip of the transmission member while preventing relative rotation. The connection part includes a connection member with witch the transmission member is connected, and the transmission member is connected to the connection member in a slidable but un-rotatable manner. The operation part includes a temporary holding part that is configured so as to, in a state before the transmission member is operably connected to the lock mechanism, hold the transmission member to a position of the base of the connection member, which is the position before slide movement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
