DOOR PINCH DETECTION DEVICE AND DOOR PINCH DETECTION SYSTEM
To provide a door pinch detection device capable of preventing obstruction of vehicle operation, and a door pinch detection system.SOLUTION: The door pinch detection device includes a determination unit and a reference value setting unit. The determination unit (determination operation unit) is configured to determine whether or not a door pinch has occurred on the basis of a comparison result between an output value from sensor for detecting rotation of a rotating body provided at the door end of a vehicle door and a reference value (determination value) that is the reference to determine whether or not any door pinch has occurred. The reference value setting unit (setting unit) is configured to change the reference value for determining by the determination unit on the basis of at least one of ambient situation of vehicle door and the operation of the vehicle door.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
