ROAD SNOW MELTING SYSTEM UTILIZING AUTOMOBILE ENGINE WASTE HEAT
To solve the problem of selecting a water in a tank of a vehicle thermal insulation structure as a heat medium for transporting engine waste heat, and providing a device for melting snow on a road surface by heating a tire with water (hot water) heated by the engine waste heat and dropping said water on the road surface thereafter.SOLUTION: Water in a water tank is heated by an engine exhaust pipe penetrating the water tank of an onboard heat retention structure and a heat exchanger using engine coolant as a heat source. The water is then poured from a discharge nozzle onto a tire tread to heat the tire tread and be dropped to melt road surface snow.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
