To provide a mounting tool for a support bracket capable of safely and easily mounting a support bracket for supporting a cable or the like of a preceding wiring work to a hanging bolt at a high place.SOLUTION: A holding unit 21 is provided on a metal holder 20 so as to be slidable up and down. The holding unit 21 holds the upper and lower ends of a coupling body P1. A fixing release unit 22 is provided which fixes the holding unit 21 in a state where the upper and lower end parts of the coupling body P1 is compressed. The fixing release unit 22 is provided so as to release the compressed state of the holding unit 21. When a string body 30 connected to the fixing release unit 22 is pulled, the fixing release unit 22 moves. 【課題】先行配線工事のケーブル等を支持する支持金具を、高所の吊りボルトに安全且つ容易に取付けることが可能な支持金具用取付け工具を提供する。【解決手段】金具保持体２０に保持部２１を上下スライド自在に設ける。該保持部２１で連結体Ｐ１の上下端部を保持する。連結体Ｐ１の上下端部を圧縮した状態の保持部２１を固定する固定解除部２２を設ける。この固定解除部２２で保持部２１の圧縮状態を解除するように設ける。固定解除部２２に連結した紐体３０を引くと固定解除部２２が移動するように設ける。保持部２１が解除されると、棒状体Ｑに支持金具Ｐが固定するように構成する。【選択図】 図１
