To provide an opening/closing control structure for a battery box of an electric motorcycle, in which a locking operation is easy, and which is highly effective for anti-theft performance.SOLUTION: Provided is an electric motorcycle including a frame unit 21, and a body cover unit covering the frame unit 21, in which: a battery box 5 is pivotally supported to the frame unit 21; batteries 4 being a power source for supplying power to a power generation motor driving the electric motorcycle are accommodated inside the battery box 5; operating means 6 for rotating the battery box 5 to arrive at a release position or a storage position; the operating means 6 is electrically connected to operation controlling means C; the operation controlling means C is electrically connected to an authorization unit 8; and the authorization unit 8 performs operation for controlling according to an authenticated unit, or performs operation of detection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
