DURABILITY EVALUATION METHOD FOR ALUMINA-MAGNESIA CASTABLE REFRACTORY
To provide a durability evaluation method for alumina-magnesia castable refractory that can select an alumina-magnesia castable refractory excellent in workability, corrosion resistance, and volume stability.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a durability evaluation method for an alumina-magnesia castable refractory including a fireproof material of 100 mass%, which consists of a silica powder, an alumina powder, and a magnesia refractory raw material each with a predefined grain size and amount, alumina cement with a predefined amount, and the remainder of an alumina refractory raw material with a predefined grain size, a dispersant, and an explosive fracture inhibitor. In the method, when a slump value measured by a slump test method of JIS A 1101 is 260 mm or more based on a kneading material obtained by kneading the castable refractory with water, and when a particle size of a mode on the grain size distribution of the grain of 50 μm or smaller is 0.5 μm or smaller in the grain size distribution measurement by a grain size distribution measurement using a laser diffraction and scattering method, based on the paste in which the kneading material is passed through the sieve with a sieve opening of 2.8 mm, the alumina-magnesia castable refractory is excellent in the durability.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】施工性、耐食性、容積安定性に優れるアルミナ−マグネシア質キャスタブル耐火物を選定できるアルミナ−マグネシア質キャスタブル耐火物の耐用性評価方法を提供する。【解決手段】所定の粒径と量のシリカ粉体、アルミナ粉体、マグネシア質耐火原料と、所定の量のアルミナセメントと、残部が所定の粒径のアルミナ質耐火原料からなる耐火素材100質量%と、分散剤、爆裂防止剤からなるアルミナ−マグネシア質キャスタブル耐火物の耐用性評価方法であって、キャスタブル耐火物を水で混練した混練物に対し、JIS A 1101のスランプ試験方法で測定したスランプが260mm以上であり、かつ、混練物を目開き2.8mmのふるいに通過させたペーストに対し、レーザ回折・散乱法による粒度分布測定による粒度分布測定において、50μm以下の粒子の粒度分布の最頻値の粒子径が0.5μm以下である場合には耐用性に優れるとする。【選択図】図2
