To provide a screw-in type steel pipe pile which prevents an adverse effect in a bearing power, does not affect an increase in a manufacturing cost and an adjacent screw-in type steel pipe pile, and is excellent in workability in a hard ground and a cohesive soil ground.SOLUTION: A screw-in type steel pipe pile 1 has a rotary blade 5 provided on the tip or tip viscosity of a steel pipe 3, and has an outward moving projection 7 and an inward moving projection, which control movement of sediment so that the sediment moving to the upper surface of an inclination part in the rotary blade 5 during rotation and penetration moves outward and/or inward along with the rotation of the rotary blade 5, provided on the upper surface of the rotary blade 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
