To provide a bonded honeycomb segment assembly with a small bonding width variation and a good bonding quality, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A bonded honeycomb segment assembly includes a plurality of honeycomb segments and a joining layer that joins the side surfaces of the multiple honeycomb segments. In this bonded honeycomb segment assembly, the bonding layer is a cured product of a paste-like bonding material, and the standard deviation of the bonding width is 0.30 or less. Furthermore, this bonded honeycomb segment assembly is manufactured by applying vibration and pressure when bonding the side surfaces of the multiple honeycomb segments using a paste-like bonding material.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】接合幅のバラツキが小さく且つ接合品質が良好なハニカムセグメント接合体及びその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】ハニカムセグメント接合体は、複数のハニカムセグメントと、複数のハニカムセグメントの側面を接合する接合層とを有する。このハニカムセグメント接合体において、接合層は、ペースト状の接合材の硬化物であり且つ接合幅の標準偏差が０．３０以下である。また、このハニカムセグメント接合体は、複数のハニカムセグメントの側面をペースト状の接合材を用いて接合する際に振動加圧を加えることによって製造される。【選択図】なし
