To provide a holding structure for a glass plate which has excellent water-tight and air-tight properties and a fire-proof property.SOLUTION: A holding structure for a glass plate which holds a peripheral edge part of a wired glass plate or a glass plate including a fire-proof property by a frame body. The glass plate includes: an amorphous seal material 7 provided between the frame body and one surface of the glass plate; and a regular seal material 6 which is provided between the frame body and the other surface of the glass plate and which expands and embrittles at a temperature lower than an ignition temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
