ACRYLIC RESIN FINE PARTICLE
To provide an acrylic resin fine particle excellent in low heat generation properties when thermally decomposed under a nitrogen atmosphere, suppressing crack generation, capable of attaining high porosity when used as a pore-forming agent of a porous ceramic molded body, and capable of making an exhaust gas-purifying filter little in contamination of a pore surface, and excellent in NOx removal properties particularly when using to make an exhaust gas-purifying filter.SOLUTION: An acrylic resin fine particle has a calorific value of 3.0 kJ/g or less when thermally decomposed under nitrogen atmosphere, and measured using a differential thermal analysis curve (DTA curve), and an average particle size of 0.1-50.0 μm, contains 70-95 wt.% of a constituent derived from alkyl (meth)acrylate having a 4 or less-C alkyl group, and 5-30 wt.% of a constituent derived from a polyfunctional (meth)acrylate, and has a difference between σ2 and σ1 (σ2-σ1) of 1 mS/cm or less let a conductivity at 25°C of a filtrate obtained by filtering a dispersion obtained by dispersing 100 pts.wt. of the acrylic resin fine particle in 200 pts.wt. of ion exchange water having a conductivity of σ1 be σ2.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】窒素雰囲気下での熱分解時の低発熱性に優れ、多孔質セラミック成形体の造孔剤として用いた場合に、クラックの発生を抑制するとともに、高い空孔率を実現でき、特に排ガス浄化フィルタの作製に用いた際に、空孔表面の汚染が少なく、NOxの除去性に優れた排ガス浄化フィルタを作製可能なアクリル樹脂微粒子を提供する。【解決手段】示差熱分析曲線(DTA曲線)を用いて測定した窒素雰囲気下での熱分解時の発熱量が3.0kJ/g以下であるアクリル樹脂微粒子であり、平均粒子径が0.1〜50.0μmであり、炭素数4以下のアルキル基を有するアルキル(メタ)アクリレートに由来する成分を70〜95重量%、多官能性(メタ)アクリレートに由来する成分を5〜30重量%含有し、25℃の温度で、アクリル樹脂微粒子100重量部を、導電率がσ1のイオン交換水200重量部に分散させた分散液を濾過した際の濾液の導電率をσ2としたとき、σ2とσ1との差σ2−σ1が1mS/cm以下であるアクリル樹脂微粒子。【選択図】なし
