To provide a speed reducer, a rotation drive system and a hydraulic excavator capable of supplying lubricant to a slide part smoothly.SOLUTION: A speed reducer comprises: a transmission unit 80 that rotates about an axial line; an annular member 170 formed into a cylindrical shape of surrounding the axial line, rotating around the axis together with the transmission unit 80, and formed with an oil reservoir having a recessed groove recessed on an inner peripheral surface, and a lubricant supply hole extending from the recessed groove toward a radially outer side; and a slide part provided on the radially outer side of the lubricant supply hole of the annular member 170.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
