To provide a rolling machine that prevents accidents of contact between obstacles and the rolling machine.SOLUTION: A rolling machine 1 includes a transmission device that transmits the driving force from a power source to a driving device that makes it travel, a travel-stopping device, a first obstacle detecting device 12 that detects obstacles in a first area, a second obstacle detecting device 14 that detects obstacles in a second area, an entanglement preventing device 16 which is provided further outside than the wheel 3, a contact detecting device 16C which detects contact by an obstacle with the entanglement preventing device, a warning device, a drive stopping part, a run-stopping part, a control part 80. The control part activates the warning device when it is detected that there are obstacles in the first area; activates the warning device and stops the driving force transmission to the driving device by the transmission device when it is detected that there are obstacles in the second area; and activates the warning device and the travel-stopping device when contact by obstacles with the entanglement preventing device is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
