REINFORCING STRUCTURE FOR EXISTING STEEL SHEET PILE WALL
To provide a reinforcing structure for an existing steel sheet pile wall in which the manufacturing of members used is easy and the construction is also easy.SOLUTION: In the reinforcing structure for an existing steel sheet pile wall, recesses and protrusions of U-shaped steel sheet piles or hat-shaped steel sheet piles continue alternatively. A steel sheet with a rib and/or a reinforcement bucket formed of ribs provided in a stripe shape on one surface or both surfaces of a steel sheet are disposed in a position in contact with or a bit away from recesses of the existing steel sheet pile wall. A new steel sheet pile wall made of linear steel sheet piles is disposed a bit away from the recesses of the existing steel sheet pile wall. The steel sheet with a rib and/or the reinforcement bucket are disposed so as not to contact the new steel sheet pile wall. A gap between the existing steel sheet pile wall and new steel sheet pile wall is filled with a filler.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
