MAINTENANCE METHOD OF WATER INTAKE/DISCHARGE DEVICE
To provide a maintenance method of a water intake/discharge device capable of more easily taking a measure such as a repair work and a reinforcement work of a joint part for the purpose of maintenance of the water intake/discharge device than conventional one.SOLUTION: In a water intake/discharge device includes a main pipe which is installed in the sea and has an inlet/outlet part that takes in/out sea water, a pit storing the sea water and has a joint part connecting the inlet/outlet par and the pit, and an auxiliary pipe whose one end is connected to the pit and the other end is arranged in the sea, and is attached in a sea water utilization facility, a maintenance method of the water intake/discharge device that takes a predetermined measure to the joint part performs a flow rate reduction step of reducing a flow rate of the sea water distributing through the main pipe than a flow rate when the sea water is not distributed through the auxiliary pipe, and then performs a measure step #5 of taking a predetermined measure from the main pipe to the joint part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】取排水装置のメンテナンスを目的とした継手部の補修作業や補強作業といった措置を従来よりも容易に講じることができる取排水装置のメンテナンス方法を提供する。【解決手段】海中に設置され、海水が出入りする出入部、海水を貯留するピット、出入部とピットとを繋ぎ、継手部を有する主管、及び一端がピットに接続し他端が海中に配置された副管を備えて、海水利用設備に付設される取排水装置において、継手部に所定の措置を講じる取排水装置のメンテナンス方法であって、副管に海水を流通させ、主管を流通する海水の流速を、副管に海水を流通させていない場合の流速よりも低下させる流速低下工程を行った後、主管内から継手部に所定の措置を講じる措置工程#5を行う。【選択図】図3
