DEVICE FOR BOTH WATER INTAKE AND SEDIMENT DISCHARGE
To control an operation related to discharge of sediment deposited at an upstream side of a dam body crossing a river such as an erosion control dam and an erosion control weir and water intake without using electric power.SOLUTION: A device for both water intake and sediment discharge which is provided in a dam body crossing a river, discharges sediment deposited at an upstream side of the dam body, and guides river water to take in, comprises: a bottom face sediment discharge facility provided at the upstream side of the dam body and taking-in sediment together with river water; a connection portion connected to the bottom face sediment discharge facility; and a water intake tower having an inflow control device opening/closing the connection portion. The inflow control device comprises a water control gate which ascends/descends by using buoyance generated by river water flowing into the water intake tower via the connection portion, and blocks the connection portion when river water level reaches a preset specified water level.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】砂防ダムや砂防堰堤など河川を横断する堤体の上流側に堆積した土砂の排出と取水に関する動作を、電力を用いることなく制御する。【解決手段】河川を横断する堤体に設けられ、堤体の上流側に堆積する土砂を排出するとともに河川水を導いて取水する取水排砂兼用装置であって、堤体の上流側に設けられ、河川水とともに土砂を取込む底面排砂設備と、底面排砂設備に接続する接続部、及び接続部を開閉する流入制御装置を有する取水塔と、を備え、流入制御装置は、前記接続部を介して前記取水塔に流入する河川水により生じる浮力を利用して昇降し、河川水位が予め設定された規定水位に到達した場合に、接続部を遮断する制水ゲートを備える。【選択図】図1
