TSUNAMI BARRIER
To provide a tsunami barrier allowing a capturing body to be easily installed on a gate.SOLUTION: A tsunami barrier 1 is provided with a plurality of columns 2 erected in specific intervals in the ground and a capturing body 3 is installed between the plurality of the columns 2 and capturing objects swept with wave force, wherein the capturing body 3 comprises: a continuous part 32 continuously installed between engaging columns 21 of the plurality of the columns 2 on which an end part of the capturing body 3 is engaged; and a release part 33 installed between engaging columns 21g other than the engaging columns 21g between which the continuous part 32 is installed to allow the installation of the capturing body 3 to be released freely.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
