To provide a water stop structure capable of simplifying water stoppage work between a roof and a post, and a water stop member used therefor.SOLUTION: A water stop member 110 includes: a cylindrical body 111 installed on the upper surface of a roofing material 81B; and a plurality of lower fixing screw holes 121 formed on the inner periphery of the cylindrical body 111. The cylindrical body 111 is disposed around an upper opening 92A of an insertion opening 92 of the roofing material 81. The water stop member 110 is fixed to the roof material 81 by fixing screws 123 screwed into the plurality of lower fixing screw holes 121.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
