To provide a revolving type work machine that can prioritize a revolving operation when an increase in the speed of a revolving superstructure is required and that can prevent an increase in the speed of the revolving superstructure against an operator's intention, during a combined operation in which a revolving operation and an optional operation are performed at the same time.SOLUTION: An opening and closing operation control unit 71 controls an optional control valve 50 so as to reduce the opening angle of the optional control valve 50 when a first opening angle reduction condition is met. The condition is a case where a revolving operation detecting unit 91 detects an operation amount equal to or above a standard operation amount SV preset in a range larger than the minimum operation amount of a revolving operation member 81A for performing revolving operations of a revolving superstructure 2 and an optional operation detecting unit 92 detects that an optional operation member 82A is operated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
【課題】旋回操作とオプション操作とが同時に行われる複合操作時において、上部旋回体の増速が必要なときには旋回動作を優先させることができ、しかも、オペレータの意志に反した上部旋回体の増速を抑制することができる旋回式作業機械を提供する。【解決手段】開閉動作制御部７１は、上部旋回体２の旋回動作を行わせるための旋回操作部材８１Ａの最小操作量よりも大きい範囲で予め設定された基準操作量ＳＶ以上の操作量を旋回操作検出部９１が検出し、かつ、オプション操作部材８２Ａが操作されたことをオプション操作検出部９２が検出するという第１の開度減少条件が満たされた場合に、オプション制御弁５０の開度を減少させるようにオプション制御弁５０を制御する。【選択図】図８
