To provide a technology for making it possible to obtain satisfactory design in attaching a shutter to a toilet seat.SOLUTION: A toilet seat unit comprises: a toilet seat 22 rotatably attached to a toilet bowl body 14, the toilet seat having a rear surface on which an opening/closing port 36 is formed; and a shutter 38 attached to the toilet seat 22 so as to be capable of opening/closing the opening/closing port 36. Almost entire range S1 from a front end 38b to a back end 38c of the entire range in the front-back direction X of the shutter 38 is provided at a position that is behind an inner peripheral surface 32d of a central opening 32 of the toilet seat 22 and overlaps with the inner peripheral surface 32d when viewing from the front the toilet seat 22 at a fallen position at which the toilet seat falls on the toilet bowl body 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
