To provide a fixture for a handrail and an installing method of the handrail allowing installing operation of handrail members to be easily performed.SOLUTION: A fixture (1A) for a handrail of the present invention is the fixture for the handrail to connect two ends thereof in a longitudinal direction of two rod-like handrails to each other, comprising a connecting body (2A) having two openings, angle adjusting members (3) arranged on the openings and rotatably connected to the connecting body and configured to be fixable on the connecting body, and a cylindrical member (4) having a throughhole through which the handrail member is inserted and detachably engaged with the angle adjusting members. The angle adjusting member is provided with an abutment surface (32) abuttable on an end surface of the handrail member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
