To provide an opening building material having high workability and water tightness.SOLUTION: This opening building material comprises an opening frame and a fitting frame. The fitting frame includes upper and lower frames 61, 70 and a longitudinal frame. The opening frame has a base material 30. The base material 30 has a rising wall 31 that abuts against the lower frame 70 at an indoor side end, and a support 32 of the lower frame 70 on the outdoor side of the rising wall 31. The outdoor side of the support 32 is fixed to the ground G. The lower frame 70 abuts against the ground G at ground parts 73-75 of the outdoor side, and is screwed to the support 32 of the base material 30 from above on the indoor side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
