To provide a barricade device capable of minimizing a decrease in strength while maintaining a size satisfying a specification when in use, and capable of changing a width narrowly so as to be less than a specified size when not in use.SOLUTION: A barricade device comprises: a first leg rod 11 and a second leg rod 12 being spaced apart from each other, which can be opened and closed; and horizontal beam sections 13, 14 connecting the first leg rod and the second leg rod. The horizontal beam sections 13, 14 are configured by slidably connecting an end component tube 22 and a middle component tube 23. A stopper mechanism is provided which enters and fixes an overlapping part 25 where the end component tube 22 and the middle component tube 23 overlap with each other. Thus, it is possible to change between a first state which satisfies a specification relating to a prescribed length (1200 mm) and a second state which does not satisfy the specification by sliding and contracting the end component tube 22 and the middle component tube 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
