To provide a bathroom renovation method that enables smooth drainage without removing a drain trap embedded in a floor slab with a diamond cutter, etc., when refurbishing an existing bathroom into a unit bath for a separate house in an apartment house.SOLUTION: A bathroom refurbishment method that remodelling, into a unit bath 71, a bathroom 10 having a drain trap 23 embedded in the floor slab of an apartment house and constructed by the conventional method, includes: a connection step of inserting and connecting one end side of a drainage joint 51 into a trap cylinder in the existing drain trap 23, and an equipment installation step of attaching the equipment of the unit bath 71 to the bathroom 10, which includes a pipe connecting step of connecting a newly drain trap 73 included in the equipment of the unit bath 71 and the other end of the drain joint 51 with a pipe 80.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
【課題】集合住宅で戸別の住宅を対象に既設の浴室をユニットバスに改装する場合に、床スラブに埋設された排水トラップをダイヤモンドカッターなどで撤去しなくても、スムーズな排水を実現可能な浴室改装工法を提供する。【解決手段】集合住宅の床スラブに埋設された排水トラップ２３を有し、かつ、在来工法で施工された浴室１０を、ユニットバス７１に改装する浴室改装工法であって、既設の排水トラップ２３のトラップ筒に排水継手５１の一端側を挿入して接続する接続工程と、浴室１０にユニットバス７１の装備品を取り付ける装備品取付工程と、を含み、装備品取付工程は、ユニットバス７１の装備品に含まれる新設の排水トラップ７３と排水継手５１の他端部とを配管８０で接続する配管接続工程を含む。【選択図】図１５
