To improve convenience of a home delivery box through acquisition of useful information by varying information to be transmitted to a user terminal depending on which of a delivering side and a receiving side a user is.SOLUTION: A home delivery box 10 for delivering luggage which is a delivered article comprises: a box body that has an opening for inserting/pulling out the luggage; a door that opens/closes the opening of the box body; an electric lock 22 that locks/unlocks the door; a control unit 20 that controls locking/unlocking of the electric lock 22; a wireless communication unit 24 that transmits/receives information through bidirectional communication with a user's portable terminal registered in advance; and a storage unit 21 that stores information. The control unit authenticates whether a user is permitted to use the home delivery box 10, and determines permission of unlocking to unlock the door by a user's unlocking operation, and instructs the wireless communication unit 24 to transmit information different between unlocking and locking to the portable terminal depending on which of a delivering side and a receiving side the user is.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】ユーザが配送人であるか荷受人であるかによりユーザ端末に送信される情報を異ならせることで有用な情報が得られて宅配ボックスの利便性が向上する。【解決手段】配送物である荷物の受け渡しを行う宅配ボックス１０は、荷物の出し入れ口となる開口を有する箱体と、箱体の開口を開閉する扉と、扉の施錠及び開錠を行う電気錠２２と、電気錠２２の施錠及び開錠を制御する制御部２０と、予め登録されているユーザの携帯端末との間で双方向に通信して情報を送受信する無線通信部２４と、情報を記憶する記憶部２１とを備える。制御部は、ユーザの開錠操作により、宅配ボックス１０の使用が許諾されたユーザであるかの認証を行い開錠可否を判定して開錠するとともに、ユーザが荷受人であるか配送人であるかにより開錠及び施錠を行ったときに携帯端末にそれぞれ異なる情報を送信するように無線通信部２４に指令する。【選択図】図２
