To complete joint work without temporarily anchoring sheet panels.SOLUTION: Each of sheet panels 22 is secured to each other by welding with joint members 24, 124, when an impervious sheet having a predetermined area is formed through joining the sheet panels 22. As the joint members 24, 124 are made of steel, those can be secured by underwater welding. At least end edge parts of the sheet panels 22, therefore, are not needed to be temporarily anchored under the sea surface using floating means such as buoys until the completion of joint of all of sheet panels 22, even when construction sites and construction periods are divided in several sites and periods and joint work is performed over several days and months.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】シートパネルの仮係留を行うことなく接合作業を完了させる。【解決手段】シートパネル22を接合して所定の面積の遮水シートを構成する場合には、各シートパネル22同士が、接合部材24、124を介して溶接により固定される。接合部材24、124が鋼製であることから、水中溶接により固定することが可能となる。従って、工区・工期を複数に分けて、接合作業が月日を跨いで行われる場合であっても、すべてのシートパネル22の接合を完了するまでの間、シートパネル22の少なくとも端縁部をブイなどの浮遊手段を用いて海面下に仮係留させる必要が無くなる。【選択図】図3
