STEPPED WINDOW
To provide a stepped window that can improve water stopping performance.SOLUTION: A stepped window 1 includes an upper window 2, a lower window 3 and a transom 5. Each of the upper window 2 and the lower window 3 includes a window frame 10 which has an upper frame 11, a lower frame 12 and vertical frames 13, 14 on the right and left, and a face bar 15 held by the window frame 10. Seal materials 16, 17 in touch with end parts of the upper frame 11 and the lower frame 12 are provided on the vertical frames 13, 14. Compressible watertight materials 6A, 6B for stopping water between the transom and the window frame 10 are provided on the transom 5. The watertight materials 6A, 6B have a pair of end water stopping parts 8A, 8B provided on both end sides of the transom 5 and intermediate water stopping parts 7A, 7B provided between the pair of end water stopping parts 8A, 8B. The pair of end water stopping parts 8A, 8B are made of materials having higher rebound resilience than the intermediate water stopping parts 7A, 7B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
