To provide a fitting for improving fire protection performance in a stepped window in which windows are arranged above and below a transom.SOLUTION: The stepped window includes a transom 15 and upper and lower windows arranged above and below the transom 15. In the transom 15, the lower frame portion of the upper window is formed above the hollow portion, and the upper frame portion of the lower window is formed below the hollow portion. In the hollow portion of the transom 15, at least a first reinforcing member 91 is arranged along the outdoor side surface of an indoor side finding wall 153b. On the indoor side of the transom 15, at least a second reinforcing member 92 is arranged along the substantially entire width of the indoor side surface of the indoor side finding wall 153b of the transom 15 in the vertical direction. The first reinforcing member 91 and the second reinforcing member 92 are connected with the indoor side finding wall 153b of the transom 15 interposed therebetween. A cover member 7 that covers the indoor side surface of the transom 15 is attached to the indoor side finding wall 153b of the transom 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
