To provide a beam receiving metal fitting which makes no mounting mistakes on upside and downside.SOLUTION: A beam receiving metal fitting 1 to be mounted on a side surface of a column 6 for connecting the column 6 with a beam, consists of a tabular contact part 2, and beam support plates 3 protruding at right angles on both ends of the contact part 2.
