SAND SEDIMENTATION POND
To provide a sand sedimentation pond which can collect sands sedimented on a bottom surface in a groove without leaving the same.SOLUTION: A sand sedimentation pond 2 which causes received water to flow down in an orthogonal direction orthogonal to a pond width direction between a left side wall Wa and a right side wall Wb which constitute end faces in the pond width direction, and causes sands contained in water to sediment. The sand sedimentation pond has: an upstream side first main trough 815 and an upstream side second main trough 816 which are provided on a pond bottom, and respectively extend in the orthogonal direction at an interval therebetween in the pond width direction; and a projection wall 10 which is formed between the upstream side first main trough 815 and the upstream side second main trough 816, and projects upward from the pond bottom. At a portion of the pond bottom between the upstream side first main trough 815 and the upstream side second main trough 816 excluding an area in which the projection wall 10 is provided, a ridge line part 731 which extends along the orthogonal direction, a first connection surface 732 which connects the ridge line part 731 and the upstream side first main trough 815, and a second connection surface 733 which connects the ridge line part 731 and the upstream side second main trough 816 are formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
