DRUNK-DRIVING PREVENTION DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD FOR THE SAME
To provide a drunk-driving prevention device capable of improving convenience when a user starts an engine while preventing drunk-driving and ride-away of a vehicle and a control method for the drunk-driving prevention device.SOLUTION: A drunk-driving prevention device related to one embodiment of this invention includes: a drinking determination section for determining an implementation status of alcohol inspection using an alcohol sensor mounted to a vehicle by a driver; and a vehicle apparatus control section that stops an engine when a vehicle door is unlocked after start of the engine, in the case where a starting operation of the engine of the vehicle is performed while a seating signal indicating that a driver is seated on a driver's seat of the vehicle is not output from a seating sensor of the vehicle, starts the engine regardless of the state of the alcohol inspection in the case where the starting operation of the engine of the vehicle is performed while the seating signal is output, and determines whether or not the engine is stopped on the basis of the state of the alcohol inspection when an operation of the vehicle apparatus indicating driving intention of the driver is detected after starting of the engine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】飲酒運転及び車両の乗り逃げを防止しつつ、利用者が原動機を始動させる際の利便性を向上させることが可能な飲酒運転防止装置、及びその制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の一つの実施形態に係る飲酒運転防止装置は、車両に搭載されたアルコールセンサを用いた運転者によるアルコール検査の実施状況を判定する飲酒判定部と、運転者が車両の運転席に着座していることを示す着座信号が車両の着座センサから出力されていない状態で車両の原動機の始動操作が行われた場合には、原動機の始動後に車両のドアが解錠されると原動機を停止させ、一方、着座信号が出力されている状態で車両の原動機の始動操作が行われた場合には、アルコール検査の状態にかかわらず原動機を始動させ、原動機の始動後に運転者の運転意思を示す車両機器の操作を検知すると、アルコール検査の状態に基づいて原動機を停止させるか否かを判定する車両機器制御部と、を備える。【選択図】図1
