To provide an object detection device for a construction machine capable of improving accuracy and speed of object detection.SOLUTION: An object detection device 1 comprises: a correction part 41 which photographs an object to be detected, and corrects distortion of an image Im, photographed by a camera 2 mounted on a construction machine, using projection conversion; and a processing part 42 which sets, to an image Im after correction, a plurality of regions provided according to distances between the camera 2 and the object and having different areas from one another, and performs image processing for detecting the object for a portion corresponding to each of the plurality of regions in the image Im.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
