To provide a tsunami-resistant building having sufficient function and convenience as a building provided with comfortable habitability, maintaining function of a building to the maximum by resisting tsunami in the occurrence of tsunami, and capable of being utilized as a large scale evacuation facility which can accommodate a number of surrounding residents.SOLUTION: An entrance 2 is provided on a first floor portion of a building 1 of RC construction or SRC construction, and a window 3 is provided on each floor. Since it is a building constructed in an area with a fear of tsunami's arrival, the building is designed as a building satisfying the latest earthquake-resisting standard. Then, the entrance 2 and the window 3 are installed intentionally similarly to those of a general building so that usage and function of the building 1 are not limited. A transparent member with high strength such as polycarbonate resin is used in the entrance 2 and the window 3 provided in an opening portion so as to be able to resist wave pressure of tsunami and impact force due to collision of a drift. A heliport 4 is provided on a roof floor of the building 1 so as to be utilized in supply of food and rescue in a case of blockage of ground traffic.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】快適な居住性を備えた建物としての十分な機能と利便性を備えつつ、津波の発生時には津波に抵抗して建物の機能を最大限に維持しつつ、多数の周辺住民を受け入れ可能な大規模な避難施設としても利用可能な耐津波建築物を提供する。【解決手段】RC造またはSRC造の建物1の1階部分にエントランス2を設け、各階に窓3を設ける。津波が到達する恐れがある地域に建設される建物であることから、最新の耐震基準を満たす建築物として設計する。その上で、建物1の用途や機能が制限されないように、エントランス2および窓3はあえて一般的な建物と同様に設置し、開口部に設けられたエントランス2および窓3には、津波の波圧や漂流物の衝突による衝撃力に耐え得るようにポリカーボネート樹脂など強度の高い透明部材を使用する。建物1の屋上にはヘリポート4を設け、地上の交通が遮断された場合の食料の補給や救助に利用できるようにする。【選択図】図1
