To provide a water faucet device that can be reduced in size and weight, and a wash basin having the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a water faucet device comprising: a water faucet body 10 that is connected to a water supply pipe 13 and supplies and stops water; a substantially cylindrical housing member 20 that houses the water faucet body 10 inside and has a front end opening and the water supply pipe 13 side as a base end; a fixing member 12 that is connected to the housing member 20 and fixes the water faucet body 10 to the housing member 20, wherein a screw portion 212 to which the fixing member 12 is screwed is formed on an inner side surface of the opening of the housing member 20, and the housing member 20 is made of resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
