To provide a gravity hinge which prevents a door from opening unexpectedly even when a pull-in force is applied on the door due to the use of a ventilator etc., making it less likely for an inconvenience to occur, such as water leaking outside a bathroom.SOLUTION: In a gravity hinge comprising: a first member fixed to either a peripheral edge of an opening or a door for opening and closing the opening; a second member fixed to the other thereof; and a shaft member inserted into both the first member and the second member for supporting both members so as to allow vertical movement and horizontal rotation, a steeply inclined part whose inclination is steeper than the other parts constituting an inclined plane is provided on the inclined plane of a cam member of both or either of the first member and the second member, and a rotation towards a pull-in direction of the door is restricted when a portion of the other cam member abuts on the steeply inclined part during rotation of the door.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 換気扇等の使用によって扉に引込み力が生じても当該扉が不用意に開かず、浴室外に水が出るという不都合が生じにくいグレビティヒンジを提供する。【解決手段】 本発明は、開口の周縁と当該開口を開閉する扉のいずれか一方に固定される第一部材と、それらの他方に固定される第二部材と、第一部材と第二部材の双方に挿入されて両者を上下動可能かつ水平回転可能に支持する軸部材を備えたグレビティヒンジにおいて、第一部材と第二部材の双方又はいずれか一方のカム部材の傾斜面に当該傾斜面を構成する他の部分よりも勾配が急な急勾配部が設けられ、扉の回転に際して他方のカム部材の一部が当該急勾配部に当接することによって、扉の引込み方向への回転が規制されるようにしたものである。【選択図】図１
