ROAD SURFACE MATERIAL HAVING POSITIONAL INFORMATION, PAVEMENT USING THE ROAD SURFACE MATERIAL, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE PAVEMENT, AND POSITIONAL INFORMATION SYSTEM
To provide a pavement road surface material having information transmission means capable of transmitting positional information and being available as a landmark by acquiring the positional information, and a pavement using the pavement road surface material.SOLUTION: A pavement road surface material 1 has: information transmission means 2 having positional information and capable of transmitting the positional information; and a covering aggregate 3 for covering the surface of the information transmission means 2 with surface dry density of 1.5 to 4.5 g/cm, water absorption of 4.0% or less, particle size of 0.1 to 10 mm, and abrasion loss specified by JIS A 1121 of 30% or less. The pavement provided with the pavement road surface material 1 is also applicable to automatic driving of a vehicle using information of the information transmission means 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
