WALL STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING WALL
To provide a wall structure capable of achieving further improvement of ability to discharge water that enters between a structure and a wall material outside, and a method of constructing the wall.SOLUTION: A batten member 100 has a fixing piece 101 which is attached to a structure 8, and a joint part which is disposed on a top surface of a drainer part 88, and enters a first gap S1 at least partially. The joint part has first and second joint parts mutually separated in a direction where the drainer part 88 extends along a wall material 2. A gap between the first joint part and the second joint part allows a first opening H1 and a second opening H2 to be formed, the first opening H1 being located in the first gap S1 and opening on the side closer to a surface 2F of the wall material 2, and the second opening H2 being located in the second gap H2 and opening between a rear surface 2B of the wall material 2 and the structure 8. A first edge of the first joint part and a second edge of the second joint part are individually sealed, and a side wall surface 113L communicating with the first opening H1 and the second opening H2 is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
