To provide an opening/closing body for a fitting which can maintain aesthetic property.SOLUTION: An opening/closing body 20 for a fitting includes: an outdoor side surface member 40a and an indoor side surface member 40b; an upper lateral force bone 33 provided inside the opening/closing body 20; first heat insulating sections 61 provided between the upper lateral force bone 33 and prospective side portions 41 of the outdoor side surface member 40a and the indoor side surface member 40b; and an outdoor side deformation suppressing section 71 and an indoor side deformation suppressing section 72 provided between each of the prospective side portions 41 of the outdoor side surface member 40a and the indoor side surface member 40b and the heat insulating section 61, the outdoor side deformation suppressing section 71 and the indoor side deformation suppressing section 72 being configured to suppress deformations of the outdoor side surface member 40a and the indoor side surface member 40b. The prospective side portion 41 of each of the outdoor side surface member 40a and the indoor side surface member 40b is fixed to the upper lateral force bone 33 by an outdoor side fixture 81 or an indoor side fixture 82 via the outdoor side deformation suppression section 71 or the indoor side deformation suppression section 72 and the first heat insulating section 61.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
