To provide a fire-resistant woody composite material in which large crack is hard to be caused in a woody base material and fire-resistant performance can be stably secured.SOLUTION: A fire-resistant woody composite material 1 has a first direction X and a second direction Y orthogonal to the first direction X in a plane view, in which a plurality of flame-retardant agent holding layers 10 are laminated in a thickness direction Z. The flame-retardant agent holding layer 10 comprises a woody base material 20 having a plurality of opening holes 21 and flame-retardant agent-containing solid materials 30 charged in the opening holes 21. The flame-retardant agent holding layers 10 adjacent to each other in the thickness direction Z are laminated in a state where positions of center points 21a of the opening holes 21 are deviated from each other in the first direction X and/or the second direction Y.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
