To provide a diameter calculation device capable of efficiently calculating a diameter of a water pipe.SOLUTION: A diameter calculation device (1) includes: a hydraulic gradient average value calculation unit (11) for calculating an average value of hydraulic gradients for a plurality of calculation object water pipes selected as diameter calculation objects among a plurality of water pipes constituting a piping network; and an appropriate diameter calculation unit (12) for calculating an appropriate diameter for each of the plurality of calculation object water pipes on the basis of the average value of the hydraulic gradients.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
